Upper Cedar Creek

I played guide to Judi this morning on a trip up the creek (without a paddle!).

Almost 4 hours of walking in total, but some very pretty spots discovered, including this one.

That is beautiful! It's always a treat to see your landscape shots, gives one the sense of having visited Australia without ever leaving the States. Though, I do want to visit Australia in person someday soon.

    [http://www.flickr.com/photos/matthewpost] And indeed it was!
[http://www.flickr.com/photos/kelsa] Thanks Jacqui :) Can't say we felt that tranquil by the time we got back to the car, but 'twas a good walk anyway.
[http://www.flickr.com/photos/steves_life] Nope, it's not weather sealed and that much protruding front element near that many rocks was too much risk (besides, it's heavier than the 17-40).
[http://www.flickr.com/photos/unrelatedpatterns] Well if you do make it down, look me up, I'll show you around my little corner.
[http://www.flickr.com/photos/21766727@N00] But you'd have been really late - didn't get back until 2pm.
[http://www.flickr.com/photos/cobra_11] Happy New Year to you too!
[http://www.flickr.com/photos/teejaybee] Aye, just a wee walk ;-) Sorta got caught up with seeing what was around the next corner...

Like a mini tornado went through it? haha yes, but that's the beauty of natural disasters. :)
