How many lanes is this? Are there two tunnels, north and southbound, each with two lanes?

How was it? It must have been a bit of a walk though I wouldn't have minded doing it myself.
  • David de Groot said:
Yes two tunnels of two lanes each.
It wasn't bad, downhill all the way to the middle then we caught the shuttle bus back.

Nice David, amazing I did not see you there.... well not really based on the number of people!
  • David de Groot said:
Yeah there were definitely a LOT of people.

Great effect, David. I like the solo person above the crowd. 8 seconds? Maybe it is a crash test dummy.
  • David de Groot said:
hahaha Crash test dummy indeed - I should photoshop in those little yellow and black roundels on her ;-)

Ah I love this! Kane had the same idea too! I'll post one up tonight, after (late) dinner :)

    Great idea. Very cool

It's one of those things that have to be done to be different from the other 5 million handheld photos out there. ;-)
    Thanks :)

Oh so you were the one that was see on TV. haha did you enjoy the run? Next time it s by car!
  • David de Groot said:
On the telly ? I didn't run, turned up much later with the family.

    Hehe! So it opened, eh?
The only time it will be free?
Nice shot. Very obliging of that one person to sit still.
And the colour of the crowd compare to the non-colour of the tunnel.
    Nice contrasts.
  • David de Groot said:
Well it's not open to traffic yet, but that should be soon and will be without a fanfare apparently (to avoid traffic rush). Definitely the only time it'll ever be free as they've outsourced all tolls in SE Qld to private providers (i.e. they're no longer just to pay for the construction, they're now commercial enterprises on their own).

Nice stuff. The motion blur adds to it nicely. The tunnel looks alot different compared to when I went in there late last year. :)
  • David de Groot said:
Thanks Matthew, year I dare say it does look a bit different now ;-)
