Manfrotto tripod head? Cool. Oh, and there appears to be some big clunky thing sitting on top of it too. ;-)
Seen on my Flickr home page. (?)

Hey, cool shot... the man in action!! The first step along the road towards the perfect photograph is a perfect setup... taking time to relax and find the best angles, and then making sure that the camera is set up correctly. Your careful attention clearly shows in your photographs David, keep up the great work!!

sage of shadowdale - that is a camera. a real camera.

i seem to be trying to interpret the scribbling on my film holder labels. i never label them clearly. i was probably trying to decipher just what sort of film i had in that holder.

    good one dave

    Thanks Mel :)

hehehe yeah Manfrotto head and legs, but a Shenhao 4x5 camera on top.

Thanks Paul! Greg makes for a good subject too.

I reckon that's about what you were doing at the time, I have another couple like it, but liked this one best.

a camera eh? Yeah, I've heard about those thing-a-ma-jigs. Actually, on the serious side, Mike Stacey shoots a lot of stuff with a Horseman 4x5 - he's one guy I'd like to go on a few shoots with, even just to observe how he composes & shoots.
Seen in my recent comments. (?)
