Sunset at Canyon Lookout

A very short timelapse of the clouds passing over Canyon Lookout in the Springbrook National Park yesterday afternoon.

The weather closed in at the end of this sequence and we had to pack up fairly quickly.

I just wish it'd play smoothly on flickr! I've also whacked it on youtube, which seems to cope better:

That's the mountains for you - weather changes very quickly the higher you go up, but that's one of the many things I like about them. :)

    They're very handy :)
'twas quite a magical place. Over to the right (not in frame) where 5 waterfalls, all in good flow, and ominous clouds rapidly approaching.
Thanks Adam :) 'twas worth going here rather than where we'd originally thought of going.

Needs a longer sequence too - but the rain came across and sort of put an end to that.

Thanks :) I would have liked to have managed a longer sequence, but it wasn't to be this time 'round.
