So dry even the toads have shrivelled up...

Taken at Lake Kurwongbah, where there should have been water, but isn't any now.

    One less cane toad has to be a good thing.
    Drought however not so good, hopefully we'll all get good rain in the not to distant future.

    I saw (and photographed) two dead toads today, but this one was more visually impacting.

    As it happens we had some decent rain from a storm this evening, but one storm does not break the drought :(

    But it won't do this toad any good (nor would I want it too - they breed far too quickly without having rehydrated zombie toads roaming about as well!)
