Really great shot. Lots of atmosphere and very well light painted. I flicked it up as my desktop wallpaper and looked a treat. Top shot.

    Seen on (?)

Done :) I'm happy with how this one turned out.

Exactly! I was inspired by Frank Hurley's image of the Endurance trapped in the ice of Antarctica.

Thanks Jack. We did several exposures of the wreck from different angles.

I did indeed :) If we could have stayed until low tide came around again, we might have got a snap of the stairs at the rear of the ship (apparently only seen a couple of times a year), but that wasn't going to happen as I'd been up since 7:30am yesterday.

This is great Dave, the detail on the wreck is very good. I must say I do find it has a certain ghostly feel to it :)

We used to go swimming at dickey beach when I was a teenager. Great to see it again. :-)

Seen on your photo stream. (?)

    torchlight? cool!

Despite staying at a friends place at Dicky Beach several times when I was at Uni I'd never actually been down to the wreck before. Glad I made the trek, given that I missed the Cherry Venture before it was removed earlier last year.

Indeed - very powerful torch, but a torch none the less :)
