    Thanks Warwick, I got over a dozen shots of this guy, as he seemed quite intent with just sitting there. Mind you, I was between 5 and 10m away so I guess he didn't feel threatened.

    Quite a performer by the looks of it. I like your composition as it shows enough of his environment. I'm often guilty of cropping too hard which takes away part of the story. Lovely blue colour on the head and cheek.

    Well closer would have been nice, but they get somewhat flighty as you get closer. Of course, 5-10m away with a 500mm lens would be great, but obviously I don't have one of those... ;-)
    He was indeed - I *almost* got him and one of his lady friends sitting next to him, but he flew off leaving her there all alone. I did get them together in the same frame (prev. wren photo), but not together.
