Purlingbrook Falls

Springbrook National Park.

We had a family day out today for Father's Day, a couple of small bushwalks, lunch at a café and ice-creams on the way home.

Didn't get a lot of photos, but had fun anyway.

"Didn't get a lot of photos, but "HAD FUN" anyway - great to see you had a great Fathers Day David.
This is a neat photo too ;-)

Thanks Kath :) If you look closely, there's even a smidge of rainbow in the falls themselves ;-)

    So you can !!
I wonder how close to the edge you were ...probably closer than I would venture lol

Well to be fair, it's a proper lookout and has a sturdy railing :)
Yeah, pretty bog-standard faire, but we had a good day anyway.

I never tend to take as many photos as I would like to when I am out somewhere with non-photographers! But as long as good times are had, it doesn't really matter.
I think I should head out that way pretty soon too. Havn't been to springbrook area for years.

Ok, now I'm anticipating the next photo in this series.

Yep, a little bonus, given there wasn't a lot of water over the falls.
    Yep, I agree.
Not much to anticipate, we didn't venture down to the bottom as I wasn't sure our 7yo or the 14yo who had maybe 2 hours sleep the night before would make it out again (hmmm....)
