Yep, all for sale. Prices are higher than usual as I need to cover gallery fees etc... but the usual prices can be got by following the Buy link on for each photo. :)

Thanks Pete :) 'twas a buzz to win the comp. and it's good to be on the way with the exhibition thing.

Even more so if they sell (which is the ultimate goal really).

    'tis only a day's drive Bendy ;-)

Thanks Mel :) Hopefully it all goes well and I manage a sale or two (or 6, six would be really good).

No probs Greg, I'm sure there'll be many more opportunities in the future.

Thanks :) 'twas about an 180km round trip from my place to Esk and back, just so you have an idea how far it is (i.e. not particularly far, but further than just down to the shops and back).

Your pictures are absolutely stunning and very creative. I would love to know what camera you use. I have just ventured into photography and am using a Cannon 30D SLR. Your pics have given me some creative ideas, thank you.
  • David de Groot said:
Thanks Kelly. I use a low-end Canon 400D which eventually I want to supplement with a 5D. Basically though, any dSLR less than 3 or 4 years old will suffice for big prints (6Mpx and up should be fine). The 30D is a very nice body, but as they say, the photographer makes the photos, not the camera. I've had quite good results with an expired 35mm disposable.

Hey congrats David. Just spotted this.

Thanks Jeff - alas none of them sold, so I have a half dozen prints sitting here on my sofa. I'll probably hang them around the house this week until I have time to hit some shops in the village and see if they'd like some wall art....

Thanks David - didn't sell anything though :( Still, 'twas good to have it up on display.
