Melanie - Low Key

Strobist Info: Vivitar 285HV into silver umbrella, camera right, high and level with model. Nikon SB-26, bare, outside window to camera left, Nikon SB-600 camera right under umbrella, zoomed for hairlight, unknown flash into shoot through umbrella camera right, 45 degrees in front of model.

The original colour image didn't have the same intrigue as this b&w version, so I've gone with that.

Nice shot David. That's quite the sharp lens you've got there. 50/1.8?

Love it! The lighting directs me straight to her eyes and they speak a thousand words. Awesome job once again. Did I tell you I love it?

Yep, 50/1.8 - tis a great little lens, not as good as the 100/2.8 but still very worthy for the price.

Thanks Simon :) It did come out quite well didn't it ? :)

Ha, Dave I have a very similar shot (no surprise there) and gave it exactly the same processing before I'd even seen this one.

Great minds think alike eh? ;-)

Indeed! :) No surprise we have similar shots though - there were a few times I was shooting over the shoulders of others ;-)
