Kara with Red Hair

But it's not real, I mucked around in post and changed the colour of her hair just to see what it'd look like.

3 light setup: two monoblocs in butterfly arrangement, off to the side a little for a more directional light, one bare monobloc, snooted with barn doors for a hair light.

Dark background thanks to the Inverse-square law.

lol Dave ...... what sort of "Dadism" is that !!!
lovely shot - now she can go out & buy the dye to colour her hair .... lol

Or maybe realise that she doesn't need to ;-)

*snicker* like faking it can ever compare with the real thing ;)

Great result that hair looks very real, lighting setup sounds very professional I had to Google some of it to see what you where using.

Kara looks great as a redhead. So much cheaper than the hairdresser. What can you do for grey, Dave?
  • David de Groot said:
    Well I can hope. :P
    ;-) Thanks Jason.
Oh I'm sure grey would be a complete doddle :)

The red hair would be awesome with her green eyes.
(Just to make it harder for you... :-)
  • David de Groot said:
It would, if she actually had green eyes... I might have mucked around with those too. ;-)

I hope you are telling her that she is beautiful just the way she is! Hope all this mucking about with her photos doesn't give her the idea that she has to change!!! Kara, you are very beautiful as is, my dear!! :)
  • David de Groot said:
Oh she knows that. You should see some of the other things I do to her photos - there's no way she'd want to look like those ;-)

I was going to say you have had to change her eyes as well as they look different to the other photos.
