Shot while eating dinner at the Samford Fish and Chippery.

This is the best and least embarrasing shot I took.

    She's nearly smiling!
Her eyes are great in this.

That's a pretty intense eye lock there. I like the way the hands lead to her face and the those wisps of hair help to frame the face as well.

Seen in my contacts' photos. (?)

It was a close thing. She really didn't want her photo taken, claiming to be a greaseball or something, but Lea convinced her to put up with it ;-)

Thanks. The previous two shots were none too flattering though.

I find it is better to not allow minors (in the family) the option of saying "No" to my photo work. I have lots of pics of half-turned heads and a few blurs, but it is worth it. She is lovely and I hope she can appreciate your artistic talent later in her life!

    Yes, quite silly, quite often!

Oh I don't accept "no" either, my reasoning is, "look you can sit there and get a nice photo taken, or I'll take an embarrassing one and post it all over the internet". ;-)

She looks a bit grownup here.

Ah, sounds like my hubby. He takes a lot of pictures of me and I really hate it! But I love him for it. I look back a few years and I see many funny and nice pictures that I'm glad he took.

    Exactly ! :)

at the risk of sounding as an old auntie or grandmother, i do have to say that i think she looks more grown up as compared to when i saw her in march this year. boy, time really flies! they grow up so fast, right?

    very pretty girl.

What's even scarier is that she's starting to act more grown up too!
