The food line

Watching lorikeets at a feeder is quite amusing. You get the initial game bird that flies down for a feed, followed by a couple more. Soon the whole flock starts to approach, but they seem to know how many birds can access the feeder at once and thus queue on the fence waiting thier turn.

The Food Line is now available for purchase as a Laminated or Mounted Print or Greeting Card at RedBubble.

They are characters to watch. I had a few in the yard today who wanted to take on a couple of cockatoos at the feeder. Brave little buggers
Seen in my contacts' photos. (?)

Thanks, got a couple of good ones out of this session.
Yeah it was right in the Golden Hour :)
It is indeed. It's always funny to watch human like behaviour in animals.
    Thanks Voodoo :)
Yep, fearless with other birds, probably because they know how fast they can get away if needed. ;-)

If it was me and I had the talent ( which I dont ) I think I would clone out the bit of wood by the main birds head, I just think it would look better, but what a great photo !

You're right of course. Had I got more of it in, you'd see it was the feeder platform and thus it'd lend context, but I didn't so now it's just a visual distraction.

I'd guessed it was the feeder - from the title, still only my opinion of course !! I look forward to seeing a "doctored " one !!

Hmmmm.... we'll see. It's a large area to wipe out...

Yes, I saw what you said and went 'doh! yes, thats what it needs! Do it, hon!' I thought there was something less than optimal on the original and couldn't pick what.
