Beach Foam

Kicked up by wild seas off Maroochydore. Nothing like the masses of foam on the Gold Coast but definitely not something you see everyday.

Cool shot, love the bokeh style foreground, kind of messes with you eyes if you look at it long enough. Great perspective.

hmmm nice shot, i like the low angle, man its looks rough out there :)

I figured I had to shoot the foam, as it's not something that's too common, and there wasn't masses of it, and there was no way I was changing lenses on the beach in those conditions, so it was the obvious angle to shoot from ;-)
    Thanks Wes :)
    jaclyn_teh2000 - Yep ;-)
It does a bit, doesn't it?
Oh yeah, 5 - 7 m waves at the back, pretty impressive to see.

It looks as though the sea has turned into a giant washing machine. As others have said, the perspective is very good, and the sky suggests more to come.
Did you get wet taking the shot?
  • David de Groot said:
Nah, I was a fair way from the water, even if it doesn't look like it. :)

Okay, own up, who put too much detergent in.... ?

*looks innocent* It was him ---> over there what did it! ;-)

Yeah, yeah, I'll believe you !!
How are things, I see NSW's is copping a wee bit of rain ! I really ought to find out how my uncle is doing , what a year you are having !
  • David de Groot said:
