    bloody beauty!

textures, colours, reflected light - it has it all.

I was hoping this one would come out at the time I shot it - hard to tell on the little screen when shooting flat, and sure enough, it did :)

I took a closer shot of the stern. Haven't processed it yet. We cannot have a third day of a bunch of different people posting the same image. :-)

Nice one David. Great light & colours.
  • David de Groot said:
Indeed - people might suspect we're all the same person or something... ;-)
Thanks - 'twas yet again worth getting up for :)

Well, we have similar hair styles and we both shoot Canon. :-)
  • David de Groot said:
Hmmm, and there are no identifiable photos of you on the 'net...

Excellent work, and beautiful colours - this is my favourite of the three. It looks very sorry for itself here!
  • David de Groot said:
As well it should, given how much of the boat is no longer there. ;-)

cool shot, almost as if you were on the boat when taken. i reckon hdr wouldve been good for this, but thats subjective
  • David de Groot said:
    Thanks John :)

I'm not a big fan of hdr. I did however take a heap of different exposures so if I felt like it I could give it a go - either that or just blended layers. I haven't yet though.
  • Xenedis said:
Ah, but the best HDR images are those that don't scream "I am an HDR image!".

If you cannot tell it's HDR, then it was done well.
  • David de Groot said:
That's true. Still more effort than I've got time for right now though.
