Wishful Thinking ?

or just plain obstinate ?

Found on the base of a headstone at the Dutton Park Cemetery.

Taken during the September Brisbanites Flickr Meetup.

I'm going to use this one for the 26things::Words item.

Well not being religious myself I didn't spot it at the time, just thought it a very odd thing to put on a headstone.

I think it's very beautiful, David. Maybe you missunderstood it's meaning?
I would understand it means something like IS THERE A LIFE BEFORE DEATH? Death is just a transition from one place to another.
Gives it a whole different meaning, doesn't it.

OR maybe somebody wanted to give you some food for thoughts? ;-)

    Very beautiful capture. Thank You!

Oh, btw; could you explain the difference of lol and LOL? I don't dare asking somebody else, I always thought it was 'just' laughed out loud when written 'lol' - but could it not also mean LOTS OF LOVE...??? Or am I being 'too deep'.... ;-)
    Just asking

It's possible Kiki, after all I am not religious in any way and it's obvious that this is a religious epitaph, so I probably did miss the meaning.
Although I can see now what they might have been trying to say.

As for lol/LOL I reckon it's the same thing - i.e. laugh out loud. Capitols tend to lend more emphasis though.

Very likely Nelo, but I don't go in for that sort of thing. Each to their own. :)
