Post processed shot of that darn windmill down the road that I took this afternoon on the way home.
The windmill was spinning at the time of the shot, thus the slight motion blur on the blades.
See where this picture was taken.

That pump is still in good order Dave, most of the farms use solar pumps to-0ay, less maintenance.
It's great to see pics, of those outback icons that put us in the world on the sheep's back mate.
Yep, still works fine - there's a little pressure tank connected to the base of the pump to regulate the flow.
Why is is a "darn" windmill, David?
With this sort of subject I always hope to get some motion-blur - not always possible if there is "too much" light - I'd need an ND filter sometimes.
Mostly because of it's position David. It's right next to the road, there are trees behind it, making it difficult to get a decent shot of it without losing the blades in the trees. (see previous windmill picture for a longer explanation) :)
Ah - ok - I see what you mean. But it's hardly the windmill's fault is it? :-)
And you did manage to get a good angle on it with this shot.
Oh I don't know...if you can blame an inanimate object, do so... seems to work for me ;-)
good point :-)
