I wanted him to take off, but no, he just sat there. Didn't do anything remotely interesting at all really.

If I wasn't in the middle of taking a timelapse series, I would have got some pretty cool shots of a pelican gliding about 6 inches above the surface of the lake. (of course, had I packed the 400D as well, that would have solved that problem).
