its a good clear photo, not a colour I choose to have in my garden, I always seem to go for softer colours, probably look washed out in Aussie land though, with all that sun
say hi to my uncle while you are in Sydney, his xmas card is still here, I'm useless at posting them. Think he lives in Galston, 12 miles out...

Hi there Helen!
This was taken in bright sunlight, but it really was that vibrant. The pink and white flowers were way to bright to shoot.
I must say that I'm really not that familiar with the Sydney area. We're currently staying in Old Toongabbie, but that probably means as much to you as Galston does to me ;-)

Beautiful shot ! ! ! In our garden is winter now, and it is not possible to take such good pictures of flowers.

Thanks Horst :) It's summer here, but quite pleasant so far (I think it was about 24C here today).

We had lots of rain in Brisbane today, so your shot would have been rather subdued if still here! Hope you're all enjoying Sydney - I'm sure you are! :)

Very pretty rose. Nice DOF used too. It's grey, cold and wet here - that makes your roses a treat ; )

Woohoo Rain at home :) As with any holiday, there's not enough of it Rachel. I'm not going to make it to all the places I wanted to and didn't have much time at some of the places I've been.
Thanks Melissa :) Today is fine, currently 22C, not a cloud in the sky.
