Two asleep, up close

The minimum focal distance for the 50mm on my 400d is too long for most puppy box shots, so I pulled out the old S2IS and used it's SuperMacro mode.

Man, that's gorgeous. Love the textures, gentless and intimacy.

Thanks :) Rosie was a bit worried about me placing foreign objects so close to her puppies, but she had two attached to her and I didn't dally long.

I alas, couldn't make it. Oh well, I'll have to drop by sometime before it closes.

The old S2IS has a fairly reasonable macro mode Jeff. It's (built-in) lens goes from 6mm to 72mm (36 to 432mm in 35mm speak), and also does macro and supermacro (can focus on dust on the lens!).
