Trees at night

This is a test of my home made remote. It's a 7 minute exposure of the trees in front of our house.

I'm guessing I'd have to do a much longer exposure to be anywhere near bright-ish, but since this was a test only I'm not worried.

Tripod mounted, manual focus to infinity, manual mode set to bulb at f/11 triggered by my home made remote.

    hehehe Good one Kev :)

The sky is grey because it was cloudy (for anyone not in SE Qld and who might be wondering about that).

I'm not sure how much brighter this would get with a longer exposure since unless the moon comes out, it's dark out here - no street lights, no light pollution from towns, etc - even Brisbane's fairly large glow isn't really an issue here.
