Tiny frog (Litoria latopalmata)

Found in the backyard tonight. Manually focussed, on-camera popup flash (I literally ran upstairs for the camera, didn't have time to grab a flash and remote). I think it's some sort of Rocket Frog. It was about 40mm long, jumped roughly 1m, had an odd almost bird like alarm call (one of the dogs found it first).

Fantastic shot. Lovely tones, and sharp focus on the frog's left eye.

You're becoming a bit of a macro freak, I see.

Not bad for manual, handheld, in the dark eh ? I wish I'd dialed in a smaller aperture, but by the time I had and tried to get close again, it jumped off somewhere.

An opportunity well captured. Great shot. That's a wonderful eye that frog has.

Well for an artistic shot maybe, but for documentation it was waaaaay too narrow.

It does indeed - Thanks :)

Great shot! I haven't seen a frog since I was in Cairns - we had a 4 inch long green tree frog living on our back verandah
