Tiny Frog #1 - Litoria rubella

Three of these little guys were living in the filter of our water tank. They hopped out when I went to clean said filter this morning.

They are either a "Green-thighed Frog" (litoria brevipalmata) or a "Broad-palmed Rocketfrog" (litoria latopalmata) but I can't quite tell which.

They would have been about an inch long, roughly.

I can't help you with the identification, but I imagine jayavant would be able to. I love our frogs, and lament the loss of their habitat. I'm very glad for your tank, and no doubt, you are too in the current climate! :)

Indeed we are, although we'll likely put in another 22,000L tank at some stage, as the levels in the two existing ones are not looking fantastic (but I just heard it's raining at home, so that'll help a little bit).
