There's a baby somewhere with a cold footsie...

On the way back to the office I noticed this forlorn blue booty on the stairs and obviously had to photograph it.

I've accentuated it's forlornness with a nice dark vignette.

Awwwww, I have this mental image of a tiny blue foot to match the bootie now! :-(

So you think it might have belonged to a smurf then Tracey ? ;-)
  • traceyisanozzy said:
Either a Smurf, or my blue lobster? ;-)

The processing does emphasize the mood. Very nicely done.

Might be a bit small for your lobster Tracey!

Thanks Melissa :) I've decided to make abandoned shoes (preferably single ones) a new project - thus the "Forlorn Footwear" set.

Don't lobsters have those skinny little legs and feet as well as the big claw? I bet it'd fit! ;-)

Alternatively, maybe this is all that was left after a visit from your giant child eating blue lobster!

Aww...poor baby missing a booty. Great use of dark vignette, David.

    Nice vignette.

Isn't that what I pour over a salad?
  • David de Groot said:
    Quite so Margot.

Vignette, essential ingredient in a Lomo Salad ;-)

Aw, come on Dave, admit it - you carry this baby shoe around as a prop to be placed in the scene for extra emotional impact ;-)

    I really like this David.

I suspect you may have a little bag of props though......what else have you got?
  • David de Groot said:
Nope, not a prop, although I almost picked it up to add to my bag :P

The only props I regularly have on me are Duckie and Fork.

Thanks Louise :) But no, no more props just yet - the camera bag is heavy enough as it is.
