The whirlpool spot

No whirlpool this time though, either the recent heavy flows have shifted rocks or it's not flowing at the right speed to form one.

Lovely photo Dave... i also like how put the black borders to frame the shot. Makes it look a lot more professional!
    You use photoshop right!?
  • David de Groot said:
Actually, the borders and added logo were done with a plugin for Lightroom called LR Mogrify. I used to use PS for adding the borders, but now I don't even need to do that :)

Still looks bloody good. I was up Cedar Creek Rd the other day looking at a piece of dirt, it is definitely a nice part of the world.

    Thanks :)
Oh ? On Morrison Rd ? Or another block ? (The owner of the current land on Morrison's Rd is my Great Uncle).

Panorama Dr. The view up there is to die for, Would be a good spot for a dawn shoot.

    It is indeed :)
Ah... providing you never want to do anything with the land, and don't mind a really steep block, that estate is ok. Most the land itself is shaley and the blocks very steep. The spot to have would be one of the two top blocks on the hill, but you'd need a 4wd to get up there until you seal the remaining driveway (I know, I've driven up there several times).

Next time you're out this way, you'll have to drop by and I'll show you a couple of the really nice spots on the creek.

Fairly well, for sure, but I find new things every time I go for a wander.
