The Big Dry

No water here. This is in Lake Samsonvale at the end of Golds Scrub Lane.

Ironically, as I uploaded this it was bucketing down outside from a late afternoon storm.

Kara took a similar shot.

    That it is, and the 20mm of rain we got late yesterday arvo wouldn't have done anything. (well it probably filled our tanks, but didn't do didly to the creek down the road).

    Thanks Barbara, yes water was indeed taken for granted after the big dams were built - Warragamba in Sydney, Wivenhoe in Brisbane. I think now, people are starting to become seriously aware of the fragile nature of our water supplies. Alas, the people responsible for fixing these problems really needed to do so 20 years ago.
