The 2010 Summer Solstace Lunar Eclipse

A fanciful composite image of the moon phases through the eclipse taken at Cronulla, Sydney, NSW.

The moons here are larger than life size and the placement further to the left than it was on the night, but this allowed for a more pleasing composition.

    [http://www.flickr.com/photos/23034038@N05] Well the laptop I had with me was an old Dell Latitude 810. It's about 5 years old and rather under-spec'd for this type of work. Also didn't have my usual editing suite or tablet. Much easier on my OSX machine with CS5, graphics tablet, etc...
