    hehehe, yeah that voice would work ;-)
    It wasn't particularly loud - more for visual than auditory effect, but it was definitely warm.
    She planted herself there for filming the re-enactors and then presumably could not leave due to the pyrotechnics. We weren't allowed on that side of the field for this part of the performance.
    Yeah I reckon she was quite toasty by the end of the display.

    There was a bit of that yes, although it went long enough that missing it entirely would have been difficult. I have a nice series of shots of the explosion from initial bang to smoky finish.
