Sunrise over North Pine Dam

We didn't expect much for sunrise with that large bank of clouds there, but got some nifty rays anyway.

With the higher water levels in the dam compared to the last time I shot the sunrise here, most of the foreground interest is now under water.

    My big plan was to catch the moon rise just before the sunrise, but those clouds nixed that idea, just as well they provided rays as a substitute ;-)

    Yeah, I would have preferred a slightly different location (i.e. with some interesting foreground stuff).
