After watching some of the dog trials, I noticed Jenifer the Steam Tractor heading off to it's next job. This is one of 5 shots I took as it steadily got closer to me. At a top speed of 4mph, I reckon I had plenty of time to get out of the way.
In the background is the shearing shed.

love the angle/composition - funny about the wheelie bin though.
Thanks Steve. I was most perturbed when I noticed the wheelie-bin there, but there wasn't much I could do about it at the time. 4mph doesn't sound very fast but when you're trying to get in position and take a decent shot, it's surprisingly quick.
I did manage one shot without the wheelie bin, but by then it was so close that the lovely smoke was mostly out of frame.
I love these old traction engines, new a bloke in Darwin who rebuilt one and it was really a labour of love, great shot

Super shot :) I love the angle and perspectives :)
Great shot, its interesting to see the clouds and smoke combined!
Thanks flikr and Patrick.
I really liked the smoke effect which is why I posted this photo despite the wheelie bin on the right, instead of the closer shot which lost most of the smoke.
