Steam Tractor in the Mall

This working steam tractor was in the Queen St Mall in the middle of

Brisbane today as part of a display to promote the 30th Annual

Australian Heritage Festival at Jondaryan Woolshed (between Toowoomba

and Dalby) from Aug 26th to Sept 3rd this year.

Modified to give it that "old world" look, since the original was

overexposed in the background.

This particular Steam Tractor was built on the 24th of May 1900.

It's capable of 6hp at 160rpm and a top speed of 4 miles per hour.
