St Andrew's on Creek St

Taken with the wide-angle lens for that interesting perspective.

This is St Andrew's church on the corner of Creek and Ann Streets. The tower reminds me of those old Norman churches in England, but the rest of the design (and building material) does not fit that description.

Never mind Dave, That old world look in amongst neolithic buildings in a modern City. is a really interesting capture. A look at the old Brisbane, ( not old, as far as the Continent is concerned, or even Australia) against the new glassed in office buildings.

True Kev. I took several "old building" shots today. It's always good to capture these things while you can - never know when some silly council will cave to developers.

I remember seeing this church when I was in Brisbane in 1984. Very nice! You should send this to the Red Brick and Blue Sky pool.
