Spoonbills are odd birds

This one did a circuit and then almost landed on the branch in the bottom right, but at the last minute decided not to.

    We were lucky Paul, dawn was grey and dull, then the sun broke through right on Golden Hour, and stayed out until about 10ish, whence it was once again swallowed by the clouds.
