One of the more effective Ninja smoke shots I got at the 6th Brisbane Strobist meet.
Strobist Info: Nikon SB-600 behind model triggered by Cactus V2s. Nikon SB-26 triggered by built-in optical slave, camera right and behind photographer. Nikon-SB-600 with green gel camera left next to photographer. White balance changed to correct for green gel (thus making the smoke red).

Wicked!
omg, no idea what you did, but this is a great shot :) very sci-fi
Yikes... that is one scary looking dude! Lighting is spot-on David... perticularly the exposure on his face! Superb!!
Where'd the ninja costume come from???
Now don't start going all dark on me Dave :-)
Realy nice job.
Very cool, love the smoke detail.
They're my swords! :)
Fantastic work, looks great.
So, why not use a red gel on the rear light instead of the green and correction?
It looks very cool for sure, I was just confused about the green that's all. BTW, I have an array of stage lighting and a smoke machine (for future reference)......
You should come along to the next meet, it's loads of fun and educational too.
Looks like a screen capture from a video game.
Nice shot, effective lighting too. I've wanted to do something like this ever since seeing the chase jarvis video. Ninja's rock.
