Sleeping Puppy

Yes, yet another puppy photo, but they are pretty darn cute ;-)

This one was off by itself having a sleep so I took a few shots of it. I had to guess where to aim the camera on this shot as it's taken from ground level and I wasn't about to try to climb into the puppy box to look through the viewfinder.

That true Maria :) This one eventually decided it didn't like the bright flashes, woke up and crawled over to Mum.

He/she looks so peaceful. Lovely perspective for the shot

Seen in my contacts' photos. (?)

I did however discover that despite the fact they don't open their eyes for 2 weeks, and this one was asleep, it still noticed the bright flash going off a little over 45cm away from it.

Oh, I hope its little eyes are ok. Cute, cute, cute, and I'm not a dog person!

Should be Rachel, the flash wasn't directly on it, and it won't open it's eyes for another week and a half. But yes, they're very cute :) Puppies are great, and then they go to new homes before they become dogs.

What a wonderful photo... smiles. I would love to dog nap like that. How she tucks her paw under her body is so precious....
I agree with you.. so sad that cute, defenseless puppies turn into yapping dogs. (The last line doesn't mean I don't like dogs...)

It looks like it's snoring through a happy puppy dream : )

hehehe Ours don't yap much, BUT having seven of the little blighters might be a bit much, thus they have to go. (actually if we kept all the puppies, we'd have 20 + our two original dogs).

Well until I rudely woke it up that is ;-)

I love puppy's, nice and tender, lightly BBQ'ed with a bit of sauce.. mmmmm I am hungry now.....
  • David de Groot said:
Ah but they're nowhere near big enough for a meal, you'd need a dozen of them. Much like Quails really.

I think there may be hope for Kara yet - this morning she said 'I love babies... but I couldn't eat a whole one' with beautiful timing.
The years of investment are finally paying off ;)

Aww...so cute and sleeping so peacefully! (o^^o)

I feel so out of the loop. What's this about Kara and babies?
  • David de Groot said:
Yep very peaceful (except in the middle of the night when one of them has managed to roll off Rosie and gets cold.. then it whinges somewhat).
As for Kara, she was just being silly.

    Cuteness squared ;-)
You really missed your swivel viewfinder here then!

True - I could have grabbed the S2, it's got charged batteries at the moment!

Alas, one of the five didn't make it. I found it "wheels-up" somewhat stiff last night :(
On a brighter note, the other four are all looking healthy.
