Skink

Peering over the edge of a small palette. He was a bit timid and disappeared after this shot.

Probably a Grass Skink with summer breeding colours. Lampropholis delicata.

    Probably wondering just how close I was going to get - I'd taken two shots before this, each time getting a little closer. Apparently though, this was close enough as he took off after this shot.

    Yes, those darned Asian Geckos are taking over. However, I'm still seeing quite a few skinks out my way, and the odd native gecko of some sort or another too.
