Seeing Double!

We were playing with red-eye reduction this afternoon as Kara asked what it did. However, try as I might, I could not actually get her eyes to go red on the new camera (did on her Kodak though).

You need to be in a dark room first, to dilate the pupils, then take a photo with a flash and any red eye stuff turned off.

I found it interesting that Kara's little Kodak C340 got red-eye without even trying but the exact same angle and shot from the Canon 400D and it was red-eye-less (without red-eye reduction turned on). Hmmm, on second thought this isn't very interesting at all considering the price differential :-/

Well it is reasuring that the extra cash also brings reduced or no red-eye along with all the other advantages too.
