Seedpod on the beach
A SuperMacro mode shot of a sprouting seedpod on the beach at Greenhill, Qld, Australia taken from a different angle.
I'm not sure which shot I like better, this one (with more shadow, but closer detail) or the other similar shot that has more background and less shadow.

The background is too complicated
Very interesting shot. I like it. Suggestion: pan a little to the right, so you offset the subject slightly (rule of thirds), get the whole shadow and reduce the size of the rock in the background.
