Great! looking forward to the rest too. What sort of filter did you use?
  • David de Groot said:
On this one, none. It was late enough that f/20 was enough in itself. My choice of filters is at the moment, none and polarizer, but the 50mm lens doesn't focus correctly with the polarizer on (very annoying), whereas the 10-20mm polarizer works a treat (and eats at least 2 stops, maybe 3 of light).

Love the beach, and this just adds an element that's very alien to me...

It's so well done... thanks for sharing!

Thanks :) I'd seen this style of thing done before and had to give it a go myself.

    Thanks :)

Glad you like it. The others will come soon, although I might mix up the subject matter a bit so as to not bore people.

It's something fun to do as the sun sets on the beach ;-)

    I'm in catch-up mode too Helen. :)

    Thanks for the heads-up. :)

bachamp - That's a possibility I guess, although now that I'm back home, getting up early enough to get to the beach would be quite early indeed (3 hours before sunrise is my guess).

Excellent effect, it worked out very well. Very nice subtle tones in the sky for that length of exposure. Great silky look.
