Yep, from the very corner window. The angle of view wasn't fantastic, but we were lovely and close. The big ones were going off at or just above window height.

David de Groot said: Yeah I was quite happy with this one. :) The beauty of taking a lot of fireworks photos is that they're all a surprise when I get home as I don't usually review them while taking them (only if I change angles or zoom).

Well there was a fair bit, but I think shooting through a thick glass window with a polarizer helped a bit. I needed to use the polarizer to cut out the last remnants of reflection on the window (having wrapped the emergency lighting in several layers of brown paper).
Thanks Louise. It was pretty neat being at about the same height as the fireworks, and so close.
