Rising Chick
I inched a little closer and the chick started to stand up, either to start a threat display or flee, not sure which. I didn't get any closer and it didn't stand any further.
It did however start making that weird hiss type noise they make when issuing a warning, but not until after it's father (?) did it first (off camera to the right).

You need a set so we can watch the progression of these birds in a little documentary. :-)
