wow...that is cool! Thanks for your comment on my pic too...I dont have a tripod...always mean to get one, but they are quite expensive...will look around for a cheapie or second hand one maybe. Thanks for the hints too...I do tend to just leave my camera on auto, cos I dont know much about the manual settings...I guess it all comes with trial and error, so should start trying!

Hi Barbara, you can get a cheap light tripod that'd suit your S3500 for about $50 from just about any camera shop. It would do fine providing you're not planning to use it in gale force winds...
I now have a sturdier tripod, as I have gone the next step to a dSLR :)
