A bit of musical nostalgia from our box of LPs.

"Brothers in Arms" by Dire Straits

Lps, goodness, showing ones age here !!!
hehehe I've still got a turntable around here somewhere... just nowhere to set it up at the moment (once I do, I'll be ripping some LPs to mp3)
Thirtysomething I am too, but I went straight to tapes and CDs (in fact only a few tapes, more CDs).
How old are you again David ?
he he
Fantastic!

Seen in Thirtysomething... (?)
I avoided buying tapes as they degraded in quality. Thus I bought LPs and then recorded them to tape for listening, so most of my albums have only been played maybe a dozen times :) I then moved to CDs once I could afford them. As for age, I'm on the young side of thirtysomething ;)
Some familiar names here.
I should hope so Jill, after all, you're only just over the horizon from us. :)
Note sure how many Northern Hemisphere types will recognise most of those (Dire Straits is pretty universal though).
