Quicksilver

I went down to the creek this morning on the way home and found a little depression in the otherwise smooth section of rock the creek was flowing over causing a spout of water to bubble up from the flow. A bit of side light from a remote flash and voila, patterns in the flow.

    Thanks :) What's not so apparent on the smaller sizes is that the water was travelling too fast for even a flash capture - there are little wisps of water around the large droplets.

    At one stage while shooting these (I took a few), I ended up lying upside down on a rock right next to the stream.
