Pylons

at Dunwich, North Stradbroke Is.

Waiting for the return of the ferry, decided to shoot these dodgy looking pylons.

    Pretty ugly pylons eh ? But then they only have to stop the car ferry drifting off the wrong way.
    Yes indeed ;-) Not really a masterpiece, but a nice end to the day anyway.

    Great shot - you make the ordinary extraordinary. I'll be at Dunwich for work for a couple of days next month - hoping for a little photography time but we are on a tight schedule. I will be happy if I come away with something like this shot.

    Ah, not actually golden hour light - more a local sodium vapour light over on the shore.

    Yep, there were a couple of sodium vapour lights on the next dock over which spilled just enough orange light to paint the pylons.
