There was a good diversity of wildflowers at Girraween, and apparently they're short lived, but that's ok, 'cause new ones come up the next week. To really experience all the wildflowers, you need to visit every week from Aug to Oct., or so I'm told.

Yeah, for a few days this time. I want to head west for some rural landscapes etc etc some time also, esp during high summer.

August to October - that's quite a season! Could be a good excuse for some time off work! :) I guess if you went in a different week each year you'd get to see the whole range of flowers - pretty neat that they constantly change :)

    Thanks :)
Didn't turn out too bad given I really wasn't in a macro frame of mind at the time.
Yeah, pretty impressively long season indeed. Of course doing it on a yearly basis would take a loooooong time.
    Thanks Alexandra :)
