Portrait of a Dragon

Water Dragon that is.

I was lying flat-out like a lizard drinking when I shot this one.

Super sharp shot David. I love how they pose with the chin up trying to stand their ground... They are everywhere at Roma st. not to mention toowong botanical gardens.

Nice close up. Are you tempted to clone out the purple flowers?

[http://www.flickr.com/photos/jameslagden] You know I didn't even see them until you said something :P

[http://www.flickr.com/photos/philrettke] Just the right angle that the claw ended up on the same focal plane as the eye :)

Great shot! I just made it larger and the details in the eyes are celestial! No wonder their so similar to dinosaurs! Amazed!

You could do like a super blown up version of just the eyes, that would be cool!

[http://www.flickr.com/photos/eloctre] Thanks, yes the eye was what I was focusing on. 'tis good to have a subject that isn't too afraid of humans.
    [http://www.flickr.com/photos/wombat44] Thanks :)
