Poking the Sun

For the life of me I can't remember the name of this church but luckily the Saunderses can - It's the Albert St, Uniting Church. It's on Ann St, opposite King George Square, Brisbane.

Taken with my wide-angle lens and then slightly corrected and cropped in photoshop.

Now Dave that is beautiful!, The colour of the Sky, the lens flare, that brilliant white cloud and the steeple nearly silhouetted against all that!! super cool mate!

Thanks Kev :) It had some really awful barrel distortion (not sure how, the lens is usually really straight on this camera), but I managed to correct most of it in photoshop. This lens flares quite noticeably, but in this case, that's a good thing ;)

Thanks Margot - it didn't turn out too bad at all :)

I think that the church is creatively called "Albert Street Uniting Church".

Hey thanks :) I vaguely remember seeing Albert on it, but since Albert St now ends at Adelaide St it didn't twig.
