David de Groot said: haha thumbnails are deceptive ;-) They're a very pretty flower, and this variety is relatively large (for a eucalypt). You could be right. They were planted in the garden. I recall the river red gums from SA also flower like this (i.e. larger, more colourful, small trees). Quite likely they've influenced some way back ;-)
