Apparently Kane can't quite remain motionless for 67 seconds (who'd have thought!), but he does a pretty impressive job of being mostly still.
Anyway, after our Dusk Workshop on Saturday evening, Kane took me to this spot to show me what it's like. The Moon had risen but was still relatively lowand the cloiuds were moving slowly while the tide was coming in but still had a good two hours to high water mark.
Definitely an interesting diversion and a spot with some potential in the right conditions (and better prepared than I was at this time).

Great work! Compliments
was he in water? very cool effects, like the long exposure and the rreflection on the watter
Geez you guys sure do get down and dirty when taking a shot. I love it. Bet you have some rusty tripods back at home?
[http://www.flickr.com/photos/mikesenior] I sure do ;)
[http://www.flickr.com/photos/1vy] Yup, I'm in the water ..... nice and cold ;)
This is neat David, came out well.
[http://www.flickr.com/photos/maarten1969] Thanks!
[http://www.flickr.com/photos/1vy] Yep - I was next to him a few minutes prior to this.
[http://www.flickr.com/photos/mikesenior] Well I gave mine a good wash with clean water when I got home so it should be fine. Can't say the same about Kane's though ;-)
[http://www.flickr.com/photos/kanegledhill] Yeah didn't turn out half bad.
Hahahhahaha my tripod has been in my Ute ever since... wait... I went out on Sunday night.... so I cleaned it in the ocean.
Thanks
Kane
That is a cool shot and I know how good Kane is at standing still from previous experience haha.
I haven't been game to take my kit out there yet. I only have one camera and there are some real slippery rocks there :-)
[http://www.flickr.com/photos/darvidanoar] Yeah I was very careful when walking out there. Had my grippy volleys on and a torch to find the way - and an excellent guide :)
nice one Dave,
not going to comment on Kane's stance - one hand on the hip & the other holding a strap (H/bag) lol
As always, this photograph is very nice.

[http://www.flickr.com/photos/kanegledhill] bhahaha nice work
Thats actually really impressive by Kane!
And this photograph is pretty cool too :) I like the way you've composed it.
And the two light-trails in the water from the camera and a lamp of some sort in that city (?)
reflectes beautifully in the water.
Very nice!
great work
